About Miles Burke

Miles Burke is an accomplished entrepreneur, writer, author and public speaker.

Miles has been involved in designing and developing websites since way back in 1994. Prior to this, he worked in advertising, graphic design, radio and retail.

Miles holds a Diploma in Commercial Art, which he gained in the pre-‘computers for design’ days, where he learnt about bromides and typesetting, and the old ways of print design.

In 2002, Miles founded Bam Creative, an award winning website design and development company, based in Western Australia. Miles is currently Managing Director of Bam Creative, Director of Westway Nominees and Director of Reynolds Technology Services.

Miles also serves as Chairperson of the Australian Web Industry Association, an organisation he founded in 2002, and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Previously, he has been a Committee Member of WA fashion charity event, StyleAID, Board Member and Secretary of the Western Australian Internet Association, Committee Member of WA Web Awards, and a Committee Member for both a Radio Station and a writers association.

In 2005, Miles was given an award for his ‘contribution to the web industry’, in 2007, he was awarded the young entrepreneurs “40 under 40″ award by WA Business News, and appeared in the esteemed list of “Who’s Who of Western Australia” in 2008.

Miles is a devoted father and husband to his wife and three children.
