First mention of the book

So I jumped in, and mentioned the book on my own personal blog. You can see the post over here.
I feel like I’ve jumped the gun, because there are still three months before it’ll hit the shelves, but I wanted to share the news with friends and my blog readers.
I had some great responses, and even more by Twitter, Facebook and traditional email. I look forward to being able to show these people the shiny, real paper copies when they’re out.

Congrats on getting the book out. It’s very timely indeed. With the current economic turmoil and the natural growth in freelancing across the world I’m sure that your book will be enjoy great success. As someone who has recently resigned from full time employment to pursue freelancing I certainly look forward to buying your book when it is released …. oh and if you have any Australian specific tips that didn’t make it to the book I’d be more than happy for you to bounce them past me ;^) Good luck with the Freelancing and the book and keep me in mind for any Perl development work floating around ;^)
